From long to wide
- Select 'Long to wide'
- Select the key column and the variable. For example if you want to observe the value of 'Population' across several 'Year', then:
- Population is the key value (Most left column)
- Year is the variable (Header values).
Using two key columns.
You can set two columns as keys by checking the '2nd key' option.
From wide to long
- Select 'long to wide'
- Select the key column - the set of values you want as the most left column.
The module will create a variable column and a value column.
In long format table, each row is an observation: a unique combination of values.
The transpose option will only swap the header and the most left column.
