Delete or label duplicate rows by comparing values in one or several columns.
- Select the columns you want to use to compare rows with. If multiple columns are selected, rows will be considered duplicates if the values in each columns are identical.
- In the second dropdown, choose
Number duplicate in new columnin order to numbers in top-down order every duplicate rows without deleting them. This option is useful to double check on the data that is effectively being deleted.
In the example below, rows are duplicates if
First name and
Last name are both identical. Each original row is labeled
1 while every first duplicate is labeled
